Eligibility: Life Science Graduate (Biotechnology/Botany/Agriculture/Agri-Biotech/Genetics/Microbiology/Horticulture) and HSC Science with minimum 50% marks (45% for Reserved Category). Admissions purely on merit basis for the course.

Life Science graduates seeking to further enhance their academic career may enrol in the 2-year Postgraduate programme in Bioinformatics. This programme includes the introduction of several complex ideas, including protein modelling, data security, comparative genomics and proteomics, database management, drug design and phylogenetic analysis. An advanced understanding of these subjects helps our students formulate original research ideas and suggest innovative solutions. The institute is also known to invite guests and host programming workshops which further help the students develop and update their hands-on skills. Graduates from this programme usually find employment in pharmaceutical industries, research laboratories, academic institutions and government organisations. Some graduates may seek to further their academic career by seeking admission to doctoral programs in the Life Sciences.
